The Daytona Beach library
is part of the Volusia County Library System. There are several branches of the Volusia County Library at the following locations: Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand and Deltona. There are two locations in the city of Daytona Beach:

The mission of the Volusia County Library:
To provide citizens and visitors with exceptional library services that facilitate personal growth, economic development, and quality of life in a manner that strengthens community pride while fostering a countywide identity and partnerships.
There are several special events held at the library throughout the year, such as book clubs, dramatizations, films and music events, panel discussions, book sales, story times, educational sessions, etc.
Public Use Meeting Rooms:
Meeting rooms in the Volusia County Public Library system are available to the public with certain restrictions. Applications may be filled out on-line but must be presented in person at the branch. Rooms vary in size and hospitality features.
